 Best Sport Bikes Available Now

Whether you’re simply stepping into the game bike game, or you’re trying to upgrade, there’s a tremendous array of selections to fit your tastes. The “sport bike” umbrella is pretty wide, encompassing smaller-displacement bikes appropriate for each commutation and therefore the track, similarly as race-ready machines, rolling art, and insane bikes that simply beg to be chucked down a dragstrip. We’ve organized this cream of the crop by displacement. make preparations to require notes on the twenty Best Sport bikes out there currently.

20. 2013 Brammo Empulse R

Electric engine capable of 100MPH speeds with a claimed 100-mile range before charge, 53 hp, dry weight of 420 lbs., fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and Sachs shock, Brembo radial-mounted calipers all around, Marchesini wheels

Although Oregon-based Brammo does have an Empulse that they take racing in the TTXGP series, this isn't it. Still, they've accomplished something special here: an electric bike that goes quickly, looks good, and has a decent range. Reviewers found that the claimed range is probably only doable at very moderate speeds; significant amounts of highway riding at 80 MPH will drag your range down to a little over 50 miles. Still, as a commuter bike that handles well, goes fast, and can be plugged in while you're at work, it's a winner. Add to that the fact that it costs mere pennies to operate -- not a small thing, considering gas prices -- and it's even more appealing.
